Request For Information “RFI”
The purposes of the RFI document are to provide accurate information to current and future clients of KTP Advisors. KTP will utilize information presented in this document to help employer group clients evaluate and select private healthcare exchanges.
We appreciate that companies will approach the private exchange marketplace with a wide variety of objectives and goals. As such, we need to understand the strategy and technological capability of each exchange in order to direct our clients to the best possible match. The RFI has been developed to allow us to distinguish between critical characteristics of private health exchanges, allow for straightforward comparisons, and understand pricing and structural elements of the exchanges so that we may advise our clients in an objective and forthright manner. We believe that the success of private health exchanges will be dependent on striking the right partnership between companies and technology providers, and we hope to expedite the development and adoption of private exchanges by assisting our clients to find their ideal solutions.
Our ability to analyze and understand each exchange will position us to direct clients to their ideal partner. We also believe that we can provide valuable consulting feedback to exchange providers if clients do not select their service.
Structure of KTP Client Relationship
KTP provides advisory services directly to our “private” clients to evaluate and recommend private exchanges for their use. We will evaluate exchange options on their behalf in consideration of their strategy, structure, and budgets. Our fees are charged directly to the client and independent of any broker or sales commissions payable to insurance brokers, carriers or private exchanges. We take no compensation from health exchanges.
